Michelle Moe grew up in Corsicana, Texas and began her practice of law there in 2021 at her family’s estate planning and probate law practice. In early 2023 she accepted a position as a felony prosecutor at the Navarro County District Attorney’s office. However, she always gravitated to Ellis County. Michelle spent most of her childhood practicing tennis in Ennis and grew strong ties and friendships in Ellis County during that time. She also spent time as an advertising executive at the Waxahachie Daily Light prior to law school.
Michelle is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and had big plans in her early 20s to take her journalism degree to New York or California. She landed a position at D Magazine in Dallas straight out of college but quicky decided to move to real estate and obtained a real estate license in 2002. It wasn’t until 2016 that she finally decided it was time to explore the law school route and attended law school at the University of North Texas College of Law in downtown Dallas. That is where she would meet her significant other of five years and Ellis County native and resident, Conor McGuire. Michelle has two children, Simon and Lana, who are 21 and 16 years old. They have been great supporters of her during her time in law school and after she became licensed to practice.
Michelle has numerous trials under her belt due to her time as an assistant district attorney, but is now focusing her practice on civil litigation, contract issues and construction law. She loves meeting new clients and working with them to achieve their overall objective, whether it is through negotiations or inside the courtroom.
